We all know that Toronto is only getting louder, and it doesn’t need to be this way as there are solutions.
The City needs to fund a Noise Task Force and also provide more funding to the Noise Team for 24/7 coverage and to invest in technologies that improve resident outcomes.

No More Noise Toronto is all about collaboration, with each other and with the groups we need to influence. We all have our own personal connections with noise so it makes sense for us to work in groups reflecting the noise irritants that affect you personally. You can participate by simply learning about the progress we are making or you could contribute in other ways, using your skills and expertise as required.
We have both task forces and working groups. Our task forces include Motor Vehicle Noise and Waste Collection Noise. Our working groups focus on noise sources that pop up in varying locations under different circumstances, such as Construction, Amplified Sound and Stationery Noise.
We are working on setting up both task forces and working groups that pop up in varying locations under different circumstances. We currently have a Motor Vehicle Noise Task Force and Amplified Sound and Communications Working Groups. As more people express interest and capacity allows, we will add more, such as Waste Collection Construction, and Stationery Noise.
